ABSTRACT
O fibroistiocitoma maligno variante angiomatóide constitui entidade rara e geradora de controvérsia, especialmente quanto a sua histogênese. Apresenta como peculiaridades o acometimento preferencial da faixa etária pediátrica e o comportamento biológico indolente, tendo baixas taxas de metastatização. No presente caso, paciente feminina de 6 anos apresentou, em decorrência de lesão em extremidade inferior, metástase linfonodal inguinal.
Angiomatoid malignant fibrous histiocytoma is a rare and controversial entity, particularly as to its histogenesis. The tumor affects mostly the pediatric group, with an indolent clinical course and low rate of metastatization. In this report, the patient presented a lesion in the right foot and metastasis in an inguinal lymph node.

Adult intussusception secondary to primary sarcoma is a rare cause of small bowel obstruction. Only a few cases of malignant fibrous histiocytoma (MFH) of small bowel presenting as an intussusception have been reported in the literatures. We report a case of small bowel obstruction associated with jejuno-ileal intussusception caused by MFH. A 75-year-old man was admitted with an one-month history of vomiting and epigastric pain aggravated with meals. He was diagnosed as an jejuno-ileal intussusception based on CT scanning and underwent small bowel resection and anastomosis. Resected specimens revealed a polypoid tumor in the ileum and the histology of the tumor was consistent with MFH.

Malignant fibrous histiocytomas (MFH) as primary renal tumours are rare, with less than 50 cases described in the literature. We report a case of primary renal MFH of giant cell type in a 56-year-old man, who presented with bilateral dull flank pain, intermittent gross haematuria and body weight loss (6 kg in 3 months). Intravenous urography, computerized tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance image (MRI) showed right ureteral stones with mild hydronephrosis, and a solid mass at the lower pole of the left kidney associated with staghorn calculi, as well as tumour thrombi in the left renal vein and inferior vena cava. Left radical nephrectomy and evacuation of tumour thrombi from the left renal vein and inferior vena cava were performed. Histopathologic examination revealed malignant fibrous histiocytoma (MFH) of giant cell type. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first report of primary renal MFH associated with staghorn calculi.

Malignant fibrous histiocytoma (MFH) is a high-grade soft-tissue sarcoma of fibroblast-cell origin with a propensity for metastasis and recurrence. Primary MFH of the peritoneum is rare. We report a 60-year-old man with MFH of the peritoneum presenting with obstructive symptoms. Complete surgical excision of the tumor was done, and he is well six months later.

Os autores relatam um caso de histiocitoma fibroso maligno encontrado no rim direito de paciente masculino, branco, 60 anos. O tratamento consistiu na completa ressecção da lesão através de uma abordagem anterior. O paciente evoluiu bem, porém o período de seguimento ainda é curto. Esta é uma afecção extremamente rara e, segundo revisão na literatura, é o décimo quarto caso relatado

Apresentamos um caso de fibro-histiocitoma maligno retroperitoneal complicado por hemorragia espontânea intracavitária, sendo esta uma forma de apresentaçäo muito atípica. Os fibro-hitiocitomas malignos säo tipos comuns de sarcoma, porém, a sua localizaçäo no retroperitônio, com invasäo da cavidade peritoneal a partir deste sítio primário, é muito rara. Como todos os tumores do retroperitônio, o diagnóstico precoce é difícil, poi suas apresentaçöes clínica, laboratorial e radiológica säo inespecíficas e näo permitem o diagnóstico definitivo. A paciente foi submetida a uma laparotomia de urgência, que foi diagnóstica e terapêutica. Os autores reportam este caso enfatizando o diagnóstico, tratamento e evoluçäo

Se presentan tres pacientes con fibrohistiocitoma maligno, dos de sexo masculino y uno femenino. Los tumores se localizaban en axila, antebrazo y muslo, respectivamente. El primer caso había padecido enfermedad de Hodgkin y el tumor apareció en un sitio previamente irradiado. Se concluye que el fibrohistiocitoma maligno es un tumor de tejidos blandos con alta tasa de recurrencias y frecuentes metástais, las cuales generalmente conducen a la muerte del paciente
